Karma Kettle's Formosa in a Darjeeling oolong tea sourced from a medium scale Darjeeling tea estate grown under the shadows of Mount Kanchenjunga.

This tea is medium bodied, has mild astringency with complex notes in the palate of earth and fruit. Darjeeling oolong teas are semi-fermented.

Tasting Notes

Formosa oolong tea brews to a lovely gold colour. The tea is semi-oxidized and has mild astringency giving way to complex flavours and a rounded finish with hints of licorice.
