Our Batasia Darjeeling organic black tea is a single estate tea handpicked from a boutique Darjeeling tea estate. This tea has considerably less astringency than other black teas and encompasses more layers and complexities than a typical black tea.

Darjeeling black teas are less oxidized than typical black teas. The result is a light to medium bodied tea with a pleasurable fruit aroma and unique flavour that can be enjoyed anytime of the day.

Tasting Notes

Batasia Darjeeling organic black tea is a medium bodied tea with mild astringency. With a delicate aroma, it brews to a bright yellow cup and embodies the flavours of white fruits such as cantaloupe or honeydew. This is perfectly rounded off with a creamy finish.
