How to brew iced tea?
What could be better than sipping your favourite tea as an ice-cold beverage? Homemade iced tea is a healthy and refreshing drink and a perfect way to brighten those hot, summer days. It is simple yet delicious and keeps you hydrated and hence iced teas are considered a great replacement for aerated drinks. Here’s what you’ll need-
- Take 2 teabags
- 120 ml of water for boiling and 60 ml cold water
- 8-10 ice cubes
- A teacup and a tall glass
- A cocktail shaker
- Sugar to taste
STEP 1Put two teabags in a teacup. |

STEP 2Add 120 ml hot water to the teacup and cover it. |

STEP 3After about 3-4 mins depending on the tea type, remove the teabag from the teacup. |

STEP 4Pour the tea into a cocktail shaker. Add the cold water along with the ice cubes and close the lid of the shaker. Shake the concoction for next 2-3 minutes. |

STEP 5Pour the drink out into a tall cocktail glass. |

STEP 6Garnish with a mint leaf or lemon wedge and enjoy. |
